Other activities included a stop by Badwater Basin (120 F), and poking around ghost towns Rhyolite and Ballarat. If it had been another time of year, I would have preferred to take the scooter. But for right now, AC in the car is totally alright.
Also, I can't listen to Welcome to Night Vale in my helmet, which seems like appropriate listening for Death Valley.
