A long day that ended with a Motel 6 (splurge!) in Amarillo, TX. I had a platonic meal with Dave, a working traveler I met while exploring the Cadillac Ranch. Things got existential when he started, "Work is work, but what do I have to offer the world? What will I leave behind?"
Back in my fancy motel room, when I was done playing music loud and jumping on the enormous motel bed in my underwear, his questions found me again. I hope these drawings, about this unusual way of travel, is what I have to offer.
